Why… just why???!!!
I have played 2 other AC games – Odyssey and Origins. And when I find other people complaining about other AC games I used to think they are exaggerating and need to calm down. Alas, i was so wrong.So to get the couple of good things about this game out of the way.1. Naoe and Yasuke are genuinely likeable characters. Loved them.2. The open world is beautiful…. thats it, cant think of anything else.Now for the cons:WHY IS THERE A SPLIT IN THE MAIN CHARACTERS???!!!i really loved the 2 chars but seriously – I cannot just pick one and play the entire game. I literally HAVE to switch characters for several missions. Its jarring and annoying.WHY IS A GOOD BOW GONE???!!!I love Odyssey and Origins because of the good bows they have. Why has it been removed here? it was a fantastic stealth weapon for Naoe.Power:You just never feel powerful. I spent 130 hrs in the game, trying to find anything that will push up my stats, but there was nothing. The engraving slot is just 1, the weapons are meh and there is no significant power boost. You progress with the game, but like whats the point of putting in an effort if you are going to just get the average improvement?This game was just too – boring. I was not thinking about this game or mechanics after I finished playing for the day and was really kinda dreading the next play session. I then remembered that im a 42 year old adult woman and I absolutely have the option of stopping the play lol.So i did just that – deleted the game from my console and went back to playing Exp33 just to feel good about the world again.Skip this one if you have not bought already. Play the ones i have mentioned above, or ive heard good things about Mirage too, you can get that.
