Enjoyed Elden Ring more than Horizon Forbidden West
I had purchased the Horizon Forbidden West because I wanted to play that game.I always knew FromSoftware games are not for casual players. Ironically, Elden Ring was gifted to me.I played Horizon for the first two months (I play very meticulously completing every side quests and enjoying the world which is created). Honestly, I didn’t enjoy Horizon at all. The game mechanics are not at all tight. One can play the game blandly and go on boring and bloated side quests one after another. Also, Aloy is provided bland, flat character this time with hardly any depth of emotions or story arc. Thus, I switched to Elden Ring, with loads of anxiety.I was apprehensive to begin with. I was an absolute noob when it comes to FromSoftware type of games. I struggled in the beginning (struggle is an understatement). But believe me guys, this game is beyond excellence. The game mechanics (which I generally focus on) is rock solid and tight. Every main boss is of different type, and it’s an adventure to master the class of beating them. On the top of that, I played the game with completely different set of skill (as per my development of the character) unlike many YouTube channels. Believe me, one can play the game in any way, without loosing the fun (I only kept on increasing the strength without caring on other stuffs).The narrative which we noobs generally see on Internet is that FromSoftware makes Difficult games. I had the same belief. But my views have totally changed now. FS makes fair game. If one is good in beating the enemies, the boss can’t even touch your character. There came a point in the Elden Ring where I could one shot many many enemies without them touching me even once.Thanks FS for this beautiful game. And Sorry Horizon Forbidden West, you made a mess out of a pretty good predecessor. You made it boring but hide it under the garb of GOOD GRAPHICS. Ultimately it’s the game mechanics and solid character development and good story arc which builds immersion. Good Graphics is like cherry on the top (I won’t say ER has better graphics than HFW, but who cares man when the game is so much fun). ER rewards your curiosity in the most wildest way I have ever come across in any game. The Map is the greatest enemy which hides all the secrets in plain sight.P.S.Here are other FS games which I tried of the late.1. Blood Borne (All Three Endings)2. Sekiro (3 endings, another 1 ending I couldn’t able to achieve due to lack of time)3. Dark Souls (started it, killed first two bosses)Thanks.

Initial review is what this is, game difficulty is very well balanced, i ignored the horse but it can come handy in big fights like facing a dragon, you can move away from the dragon’s fire breath with the horse better than running on your legs, you can try some big enemies within the first area too and the challenge is nowhere near stressful nor it is as frustrating to be defeated like in souls games, superb gameplay refinements here, plus one of the best dragon battles in a game since dragon’s dogmaLater areas may change my overall view of the game but so far, this is unexpectedly good, most will not bother returning to older souls game after this, cannot say about demons souls remake since getting a ps5 is not doable here, but so far this is the best souls gameplayNO PRE ORDER CONTENT RECEIVED, AFTER HORIZON FORBIDDEN WEST, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THERE WAS NO PRE ORDER CONTENT, HORRIBLE SERVICE BY THE SELLER, YOU CAN GET GAMES FASTER BY PURCHASING IT DIGITALLY AND PRE ORDERING THERE CONFIRMS PRE ORDER BONUS

Best game ever made in human history the graphics combat style lore and many more you’ll never get bored of it but you’ll definitely get frustrated because the game is so hard and way harder if u tried to play it on your own and not use Google and yt. But don’t let that disheartened you it’s an awesome game even the frustration will change to a great accomplishment when you finally beat the boss or even better feeling when you beat the game itself. So I would suggest to go for it don’t look at the price tag 3k is less than the actual worth of this game.
