This game takes everything that made the original special and expands on it in smart, exciting ways.Gameplay & CombatMelinoë is a fantastic protagonist, and her fighting style brings a fresh layer of strategy to every encounter. The combination of fast dashes, powerful spells, and the new Magick mechanics adds so much depth. Every run feels unpredictable in the best way — the mix of weapons, upgrades, and godly boons keeps things constantly interesting. Just when I think I’ve seen everything a weapon can do, the game throws a new twist at me that changes my entire approach.Performance on Switch 2The Nintendo Switch 2 version runs beautifully. Combat is smooth, animations are fluid, and the load times are quick enough that you can jump right back into the action without waiting around. The visuals look crisp in handheld and even more stunning on a big screen.    I really like Hades 2. It’s one of my favorite Switch 2 games so far. I loved the first Hades game, and the sequel does not disappoint. If you liked the first Hades, you’ll love Hades 2.
