This laptop is amazing for the price! Build quality feels premium, performance is smooth for multitasking, gaming, and even editing. Why did you pick this product vs others?:A fine Laptop which delivers extremely good performance with a fairly nice body.. Slightly on the expensive side but definitely worth it to buy over 4070 models.. Personally I think it’s better than it strix version as it is quite thinner and lighter than it making it nice for daily use. The 1200p panel is nice and big and also the 5060 is able to give around 100 fps in all games..90-100fps-GTA V Enhanced at max RT without DlSS 60fps-Ghost of Tsushima at max custom settingsAlso being a MechE student It runs software like Ansys and Solidworks pretty smooth and Video editing is also fast, simulation happens in like seconds because of the 16 core i7 14650hx.. While Asus might just have provided the 14700hx ..One thing to note that the charger provided has a 16Amp plug so u have to buy an adapter for the same Also no full SD card slot is a challenge for photographers (somewhat like me/occasional)

Specs are good, power plug is too big, brightness is less unless on performance mode
Got his as an upgrade to an Alienware R14 bought 7 years ago. It works like a dream. These specs will probably hold out for another decade. Since I primarily used it for gaming, i used it plugged in and only remove the power supply when I’m doing something else like watching series or browsing the web.The power plug given is a big 16A plug that is usually given with heavy equipment such as refrigerator or microwave. However the power brick requires only standard 6A plug for operation. You can buy laptop cord with 6A cord and use it without issue.The brightness in default power mode seems dull and the screen brightens only in performance mode. Increasing the brightness using other modes (nVidia GeForce) just possibly increases brightness without increasing the depth of colour. If this is a turn off, please review the screen specs to ensure it matches your requirement.It is much lightweight as compared to my previous laptop and the build quality seems good.

I got in in the great Indian festival deal. It was worth buying. Weighing little bit heavy but worth the performance. Looks awesome 😎. Processing speed is as much as expected.
